Conducted Drone Survey at Coringa Mangroves, Andhra Pradesh
🌿 Field Visit Insight: Coringa Mangroves 🛩️📸
Embracing nature’s artistry from above, our recent field survey at the Coringa Wildlife Sanctuary has been nothing short of inspiring. 🌳🔍 The meandering curves of the mangrove creeks were a breathtaking sight from the sky, showcasing the sanctuary’s natural beauty and intricate ecosystems.
Our journey commenced with an enlightening overview by the local forest officer, Mr. Mahesh, who delved deep into the sanctuary’s flora and fauna. 🦜🌱 His detailed narration on how the fresh waters of the Godavari River nourish this habitat left us all enriched and even more connected to this green haven. His dedication was lauded by everyone, including DFO Officer Smt. S. Bharani, IFS, who commended his passion and expertise. 🙌🍃
In a subsequent interaction, Dr. U S Panda, the Group Head of the Ecosystem Services group at NCCR, gave a compelling presentation on our drone technology 🚁 and its role in species detection through AI/ML techniques. The delegates and experts present were impressed by the potential of such innovative conservation tools. 🤖🌐
And now, for a visual treat - I’m thrilled to share a couple of aerial shots captured by our drone! These images not only highlight the serpentine beauty of the mangrove creeks but also serve as a testament to our commitment to preserving these vital ecosystems.📊🤝
