The land where displaced people settle

The challenge is to characterize the land cover/land use at informal settlements of displaced populations using NASA satellite datasets. We designed an approach that characterizes the vulnerable populations at informal settlements by defining various parameters for specific geographies and visualizing the data to understand the living conditions.
